1. About the Program
The Lettermint Referral Program allows existing customers to earn commission by referring new paying customers to Lettermint. For each successful referral, participants receive 25% of the referred customer's monthly subscription fee for a period of 12 consecutive months.
2. General
These terms apply to participation in the Lettermint Referral Program (the "Program"), operated by Lettermint B.V., registered in the Netherlands. By participating in the Program, you agree to these terms.
3. Eligibility
Participation in the Program is open to existing Lettermint customers who meet the following conditions:
- You hold an active paid Lettermint subscription (Starter, Growth, or Pro).
- You provide a valid IBAN for payouts, or choose to receive your commission as account credit.
- A VAT number is required for payouts via IBAN. Participants without a VAT number may only receive their commission as account credit.
4. Commission
Participants earn a commission for each new customer they successfully refer to Lettermint, subject to the following conditions:
- The commission rate is 25% of the referred customer's monthly subscription fee, excluding VAT.
- Commission is paid for a maximum of 12 consecutive months from the date of the referred customer's first successful payment.
- If a referred customer upgrades their plan, the commission rate adjusts accordingly from that point forward.
- Commission accrues from the moment the referred customer's first payment is successfully processed.
- If a referred customer uses a discount code, commission is calculated on the amount actually paid after the discount is applied.
5. Qualifying Referrals
A referral qualifies for commission if:
- The referred person does not hold an active paid Lettermint subscription at the time of referral. Existing free plan users are eligible.
- The referred customer completes a paid subscription after being referred.
- Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. Participants may not use their own referral link to sign up for a new account or obtain a discount for themselves.
6. Payouts
The following conditions apply to commission payouts:
- Payouts are processed at the end of each calendar month.
- A minimum balance of €25 is required before a payout is issued. Balances below this threshold carry over to the following month.
- Payouts are made via IBAN bank transfer (requires a valid VAT number) or as credit applied to their Lettermint account.
- No fees or deductions are applied to commission payouts.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
If a referred customer cancels their subscription, commission accrual stops from the date of cancellation. Commissions already paid out will not be reclaimed.
If a referred customer receives a refund, any unpaid commission related to the refunded amount will be adjusted or cancelled. Commissions that have already been paid out will not be affected.
8. Program Termination
Lettermint B.V. reserves the right to terminate or modify the Referral Program at any time, subject to the following:
- Participants will be notified at least 30 days in advance of termination.
- Any outstanding commissions that meet the €25 payout threshold at the time of termination will be paid out.
- Active 12-month commission periods will end on the program termination date.
9. Exclusivity
Participation in the Lettermint Referral Program does not require exclusivity. Participants are free to promote or refer customers to other services alongside Lettermint.
10. Marketing and Promotion
Participants may promote Lettermint through their own channels, such as websites, newsletters, or social media. The following restrictions apply:
- Participants may not purchase paid advertising using the Lettermint brand name or any variation thereof.
- Participants may not present themselves as an official representative, employee, or exclusive partner of Lettermint.
- Participants may not make false or misleading claims about Lettermint or its services.
- Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging to promote a referral link is strictly prohibited.
- Lettermint reserves the right to terminate participation if these guidelines are not followed.
11. Fraud
Lettermint reserves the right to withhold or reverse commission payments in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the Referral Program. This includes, but is not limited to, the creation of fake accounts, use of stolen payment details, or any other activity intended to generate commission payments in bad faith. In such cases, Lettermint may terminate participation in the Program immediately and without prior notice.
12. Changes to These Terms
Lettermint reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Participants will be notified of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Terms and Policies
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and are subject to our Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy. By participating in the Program, you agree to both.
