Project access
A member can access a project when their role includes the required project permission and the project is included in their assignment.
Code
Review access
- Open Projects in the dashboard.
- Select a project.
- Open Access.
The page lists members with all-project access and members who have the current project in their selected assignment.

Project Access is a read-only view. Roles and project assignments are managed centrally so the same access rules apply across the team.
Change access
Click Manage in Team Members from the Project Access page. Lettermint opens Manage team → Members filtered to the current project.
From Team Members, you can:
- change a member's role,
- switch between all and selected project access,
- add or remove selected projects, and
- review the team-wide and project permissions inherited from the role.
Changing selected projects does not change the member's role. The same project permissions continue to apply uniformly to every project in the updated assignment.
You need Manage members and an equal or greater permission and project-access envelope to change another member's assignment.
Common setups
| Setup | Assignment |
|---|---|
| Access every project, including projects created later | All projects |
| Support one application or customer | Selected projects |
| Manage billing or security without project data | Selected projects with none selected |
Project permissions are identical across every selected project. Create a separate role if people need different capabilities, then assign the appropriate projects to each member.
