# Lettermint for SaaS

Your product sends password resets, invites, notifications and product updates, and your users reply. Lettermint handles all of it from one platform on its own European infrastructure, with SDKs, webhooks and the controls a growing product team needs.

## Every email your product sends, from one platform

Password resets, invites, notifications and receipts. Product updates and newsletters. Replies from your users that come back into your app. Lettermint handles transactional, broadcast and inbound email from one account and one monthly volume.

Give production and staging their own project and API key, test in sandbox mode without reaching real users, and add your customers' own sending domains through the [Team API](https://lettermint.co/docs/api-reference/team/).

- Transactional, broadcast and inbound in one volume
- A project and API key per environment
- Sandbox mode for staging and tests (paid plans)
- Your customers' domains through the Team API
- SSO with SAML 2.0 or OIDC and SCIM (paid plans)

## Easy integration

Official SDKs for Node.js, PHP, Laravel, Python, Go, Java, .NET, Rust and Elixir, plus SMTP and a REST API. Idempotency keys prevent duplicate sends when a job retries, and webhooks report every delivery, bounce and complaint back to your app.

Manage domains, projects and webhooks as code with the Terraform provider, test from the terminal with the CLI, or let your AI assistant check delivery through the MCP server. See all [integrations](https://lettermint.co/integrations.md).

## High deliverability

A password reset that arrives after five minutes becomes a support ticket. Lettermint sends from its own network and IP addresses, and keeps transactional email apart from your product updates in separate IP pools. Live delivery speed per mailbox provider is on [Time to Inbox](https://lettermint.co/time-to-inbox-tti.md).

The sending endpoints have no rate limits, so a burst of sign-ups or a nightly digest goes out at full speed. Spend limits keep your monthly bill predictable.

## Made in Europe

Your customers ask which subprocessors you use, especially in Europe. With Lettermint, the email provider on that list runs only on its own infrastructure in the EU, is ISO 27001 certified and is not subject to the US CLOUD Act.

One less question in every security review. Our [data processing agreement](https://lettermint.co/dpa.md) and [subprocessor list](https://lettermint.co/subprocessors.md) are public, so you can point your customers straight to them. Read more about the [European approach](https://lettermint.co/european-email.md).

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I send transactional and marketing email from one account?

Yes. [Transactional emails](https://lettermint.co/features/transactional-emails.md) such as password resets and notifications, [broadcast emails](https://lettermint.co/features/broadcast-emails.md) such as product updates and newsletters, and [inbound email](https://lettermint.co/features/inbound-emails.md) all run from one account and share the same monthly volume. Transactional and broadcast traffic use separate IP pools.

### How do I separate production and staging?

Create a project per environment. Each project has its own API keys, domains and webhooks. On paid plans, sandbox mode lets you test content, delivery handling and webhooks without sending anything to real recipients.

### Can my customers send from their own domain?

Yes. With the [Team API](https://lettermint.co/docs/api-reference/team/) you add a customer's domain, fetch the DNS records to show in your own app and check the verification status. The number of sending domains depends on your plan: 1 on Free, 5 on Starter, 30 on Growth and unlimited on Pro.

### How do I get delivery events into my app?

Through webhooks. You receive events such as delivered, bounced, opened and clicked as a POST request, with automatic retries if your endpoint is unreachable. Add tags and metadata to your emails to group them per feature or customer.

### Do you have rate limits?

The sending endpoints are not throttled. A burst of sign-ups or a nightly digest goes out at full speed. Your plan quota and any spend limit you set still apply.

### What do I tell my customers about subprocessors?

That their email data stays in the EU. Lettermint runs only on its own infrastructure in the EU, is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and, as a European company, is not subject to the US CLOUD Act. Our [data processing agreement](https://lettermint.co/dpa.md) and [subprocessor list](https://lettermint.co/subprocessors.md) are public.

### Does Lettermint support SSO?

Yes. Every paid plan includes Single Sign-On over SAML 2.0 or OIDC, with SCIM provisioning and group-to-role mapping, so your team signs in with your own identity provider.

### Is there a discount for startups?

Yes. Early-stage startups can apply for our [startup discount](https://lettermint.co/promo-codes-and-discounts/startups). You can also start for free with 300 emails per month, and paid plans start at €10 per month for 10,000 emails.
